What is free today, what hosted billing is reserved for, and what happens if you cancel.

What does it cost to use blop locally?

Nothing. The CLI, the OTLP collector, the local SQLite store, every query, and every audit are free and run entirely on your machine. Local monitoring never requires an account, a card, or a paid band.

Is hosted billing live?

Not yet. Hosted billing is early access and not live. The paid bands on this page are a reserved catalog for shared history, alerts, integrations, and support as those features ship. Caps and any future metering may change before general availability.

So what do the paid bands buy?

When hosted billing goes live, paid bands will fund the hosted team platform. Until then they are catalog placeholders. Local monitoring stays free on every band, including Free.

What is a credit in the catalog?

Credits are a reserved unit in the current early-access hosted schema. They are not used by the local CLI, and the model may change before anything is metered.

How does annual billing work?

The catalog prices annual as ten months up front for twelve — two months free. That term applies when hosted billing is live. You will be able to switch to annual at any time.

What happens if I cancel?

When hosted billing is live, your workspace stays active until the end of the paid period, then moves to the Free band. Nothing is deleted. Your local telemetry databases always stay on your machine regardless of plan.

Is pricing per seat?

No. Every band includes unlimited seats. Local usage is unmetered. Any hosted metering will be described before it is charged.
